The Met Office report predicts that there is a chance of significant snowfall in the next day with as much as 10cm of snow accumulating in some places.
As we reported earlier in the week this is the first significant cold snap of the winter in Sudbury and the rest of East Anglia.
Today ITV Anglia weather reporter Ross Hutchins tweeted: "Latest computer models are still pointing towards snow moving across our region this evening and overnight."
