Tasty hot dogs perfect for bonfire night
One display I can highly recommend from previous years is the Big Night Out in the village of Long Melford. There is always a fantastic atmosphere and the giant bonfire means that you don't get too cold. As well as the brilliant fireworks there is also a fun fair which is sure to keep the whole family entertained. This year the Big Night Out is on bonfire night itself and gates open at 6pm. As a nice traditional touch at 8pm Guys made by local school children will be put on the bonfire. Ticket prices and information about where you can buy them can be found on the Long Melford village website.
Now on to bangers of another kind. If you are are at a public display or one in your own back garden it is always nice to tuck in to some warming comfort food and what could be better than a hot dog? Simple to cook and great for kids Sudbury's local supermarkets will keep you well stocked up however it is important to support local businesses and there are lots of top-notch local butchers in Sudbury, Lavenham and Long Melford. Have a look for your nearest butcher here.
However you choose to celebrate bonfire night remember to be safe. This site about children's safety has some very good advice.
