Genuine French cuisine served without airs and graces by helpful and polite staff. Not the cheapest restaurant in Sudbury but by no means the most expensive, dining at the Secret garden is always a pleasure – and during the summer it's tea room service is a treat.

If you're a fan of tea and cake (and let's face it, who's not at winter time!) then Secret Garden is the place to be. I've only just discovered it after a friend took me there. They do an amazing fruit cake, but also have so many other delicious ones to choose from (they change the options so you never get bored) and some nice teas to compliment them. The staff are friendly and the setting is a nice place for a laid back catch up with friends, or to read the paper if you manage to escape the house for a bit.
