The apex is the bespoke music, entertainment, business, conference and community venue in Bury St Edmunds. Situated in the arc shopping centre, we offer a wide variety of music, entertainment, community and corporate events.

From classical music to pop, rock, jazz, blues, world, country and folk, the apex delivers a truly diverse programme of music, and also hosts the monthly Fat Cat Comedy Club and a range of dance events, including workshops & classes.
We also offer many free events throughout the year.

The apex Café Bar
In addition to event nights, our coffee bar is open Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm for visitors to enjoy a drink and relax in the comfortable sofas and beautiful surroundings.

The apex Art Gallery
The apex Gallery will open in November, and will showcase exciting high-class contemporary art, based on the theme of music. Exhibitions change monthly.

The apex is just 10 minutes walk from Bury St Edmunds' train station, 2 minutes from the bus station and adjacent to both the Cattle market and Parkway car parks.M

The apex is an exciting new multi-purpose venue, perfect for all types of event, including concerts, meetings, dinner dances and private functions. Our flexible facilities, including studio rooms, breakout areas and a unique moveable floor in the main auditorium, means we can cater for any event - from 20 to 600 guests.

The apex is poised to become one of the most sought-after settings for conferencing in the UK. The main auditorium is an extremely flexible and can be configured in a variety of ways to suit all events including conferences, product launches, meetings, fashion shows and exhibitions. We also provide technical support and equipment including flipcharts, laptops, projectors, microphones, PA equipment, lighting, staging, drapes and a lectern.

Additional performance spaces include a spectacular first floor glass atrium area with standing for up to 350, excellent dressing rooms and rehearsal spaces.
