I have tried some of the Raw Delights food (pictured above) which include crackers, granola and 'Heavenly Bites' it is all very tasty and may well surprise you.
The Raw Delights business is based in Polstead and is the brainchild of Merryn Ironmonger who discovered the benefits of organic raw, vegan food after a visit to a raw vegan restaurant in San Francisco in 2006.
Merryn says the main benefit of eating raw food is that the nutrients, vitamins and minerals, remain intact she told me: "Cooking food actually destroys a lot of the life-giving energy of food."
Encouraging people in Sudbury to try her products Merryn said: "I see them as an aid to busy people, who want healthy snacks, but don't have the time to make them themselves."
Keen to support local businesses Merryn had her logo designed by the 'talented team' at Suffolk based Pyxis Media.
As well as being on sale in Sudbury you can also buy Raw Delight products from the Sunflower Health Food shop in Hadleigh and online.
