Party in the Park Sudbury 2012

PEOPLE IN Sudbury are already anticipating one of the town's biggest summer events of the year – Party in the Park.

This year's party takes place in the award winning Belle Vue Park in Sudbury on Sunday July 22.

Event organiser Teresa Elford, said: "We are really excited about this year's event as we have some fantastic acts providing entertainment for the entire family and the Suffolk School of Samba will ensure a lively opening to the day."

This year's party will be supporting the Spirit of Sudbury campaign which backs many local businesses, organisations and charities. These include the Quay Theatre and Helping Hands.

There will be a Spirit of Sudbury stand at the party in the park where members of the public will be able to find out more about what they are trying to do.

The great news is the Party in the Park is free for all and there are more than 2,000 people expected at the park on July 22.
